The City of Beaumont is a vibrant community on the summit of the San Gorgonio Pass, between the San Bernardino Mountains and Mount San Gorgonio to the north, and the San Jacinto Mountains and San Jacinto Peak to the south. Beaumont is located 26 miles southeast of San Bernardino and 80 miles east of Los Angeles.

The City is a mountain town originally settled in the mid-1800s as a stop along the Southern Pacific Railroad and was incorporated in 1912. Many are drawn to the beautiful mountain vistas and crisp, clean air, as well as the numerous apple orchards in the area.
